The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross, which has been on sale since 2016 and is one of only two pickup trucks available in India, has received an update for 2026. As part of the model year update, the D-Max V-Cross gets a few exterior design tweaks, more features and a truncated powertrain line-up. Let’s delve deep into the updated D-Max V-Cross range.
2026 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross price and powertrains
Price range is Rs 25.5 lakh-30.28 lakh
The 2026 D-Max V-Cross prices start at Rs 25.5 lakh, a Rs 1.23 lakh increase over the outgoing model due to the discontinuation of the base 4×2 powertrain. Like the prior model, the D-Max V-Cross is available in two core trim levels: Z and Z Prestige. Both of them have ‘Standard’ and ‘Premium’ variant labels, though Isuzu doesn’t specify what they entail. Confusing nomenclature aside, here’s the full 2026 D-Max V-Cross price list:

Powering the 2026 D-Max is a 1.9-litre diesel engine that churns out 163hp and 360Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Earlier, the engine and gearbox were available with a 4×2 powertrain, but following the 2026 update, 4×4 remains the only option. However, an auto-locking differential is now standard fit for all Isuzu D-Max V-Cross variants.

Which 2026 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross variant should you buy?
