Even though it is a bit pricier, the Hyundai i20 CVT (or IVT) feels like a more premium car compared to the Hyundai Exter AMT. The i20’s drive experience is smoother and more refined thanks to its CVT, and it is more spacious and comfortable too. Also, while ground clearance is less than the Exter, it is more than adequate for our conditions.
Besides ground clearance, the only other reason to consider the Exter over the i20 is for its more compact dimensions, which make it relatively easier to manoeuvre and park in tight spaces. These aside, the i20 is superior in nearly every aspect.
