The electric Harrier has been a topic of much discussion since its initial showcase as a concept, and its production-ready version later appeared at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Tata Harrier EV Design – A Familiar Design With Futuristic Touches
The 2025 Tata Harrier EV is built on Tata’s advanced Gen 2 Acti.ev Plus platform, which is a heavily updated version of the OMEGA Arc foundation used by the Harrier diesel, which in turn is a heavily modified version of the Land Rover’s rugged D8 platform. While it retains the bold and muscular styling of the Harrier diesel, the EV version features distinct design elements to set it apart.
Design changes over the Harrier diesel include a completely enclosed front grille, ‘EV’ badges on the front doors, and aerodynamically optimised 19-inch alloy wheels. The dual motor variants also get ‘QWD’ (Quad-wheel-drive) badges on the C-pillar.
