Given your requirements, the Mahindra XUV 7XO will be a great choice for the long-distance trip. It offers plenty of space, features, and the new suspension gives it a segment-best ride, especially on the highway.
However, if the 7XO is a bit too large in size, the Hyundai Creta is a great all-rounder that offers a good ride, a comfy cabin, lots of tech and features and a strong set of engines and gearbox options. You cannot go wrong with either, and it only boils down to preference in size. If you are okay with a larger SUV, we recommend the 7XO, but if you’d like it to be a bit easier in the city, the Creta is the best bet.
