Vinfast, which entered the Indian market in September 2025, has outlined two more models for 2026: the VF3 micro EV and the Limo Green three-row electric MPV. Its current India line-up includes the VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs, manufactured at its Tamil Nadu plant. Here are the details of the upcoming Vinfast models for our market.
- Vinfast VF3 micro EV will be a proper rival to MG Comet
- Limo Green MPV, expected to launch by March, will rival BYD eMax 7
2026 Vinfast Limo Green
Expected to launch in Q1 2026; estimated price is Rs 22 lakh to Rs 26 lakh

Vinfast is set to enter the 3-row EV space in India with the Limo Green. While Vinfast considers it a 5+2 and not a full-size 7-seater, the Limo Green’s chief rival will be the BYD eMax 7. Powering it will be a 60.1kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 450km and 201hp from a front-mounted motor. Inside, you can expect a minimalist approach, as seen on their other SUVs, with the centre touchscreen taking care of most functions. The exterior is also recognisable with the V-lamp dominating the front and rear design, while the silhouette showcases a Safari-like raised roof towards the end. The Vinfast Limo Green is estimated to be priced between Rs 22 lakh and Rs 26 lakh and is expected to launch in the first quarter of the year.
2026 Vinfast VF3
Expected to launch in H1 2026; estimated price is Rs 8 lakh to Rs 10 lakh

The MG Comet has proved that micro EVs make good city cars, and Vinfast wants to capitalise on this with the VF3. The car’s small footprint will make it effortless in traffic; its 191mm ground clearance will help over uprooted roads, and the 18.6kWh battery, with a claimed range of over 200km, should cover office commutes for about a week. While 43.5hp does not sound like a lot, the low weight and compact size make it enough to zip around town. Like MG, Vinfast is also looking to offer a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plan. The Vinfast VF3 is expected to launch in the first half of 2026 with an estimated price of Rs 8 lakh to Rs 10 lakh.
