If you’ll scan through the table above, you’ll notice that Nexon onwards, the higher battery pack becomes the base battery option of the next car in Tata’s EV portfolio. Just filling in the values 55kWh and 65kWh for the Sierra EV position it perfectly in the Tata’s EV product lineup.

Tata Sierra EV Variant Lineup
Based on Tata’s other electric cars currently on sale, we know that Tata don’t offer the electric car in a bargain basement variant. Even the base trim of the electric car is usually comparable with the mid trim of the petrol/diesel variants.
We expect the Sierra EV 55kWh base model to cost around Rs. 19.50 lakh. Meanwhile, the Harrier EV’s fan favourite variant is the Fearless Plus 75, which is the most affordable variant with the larger battery pack. We believe that the Sierra EV will respect this variant and top out at or below this price point. Thus, we expect the Sierra EV 65kWh 2WD top variant to cost Rs. 24.0 lakh leaving some breathing room for the Harrier EV 75 variants.
Even at Rs. 24.0 lakh, the Sierra EV will be about Rs. 2.0 lakh pricier than the Curvv EV top model.
Tata Sierra EV 4WD — Unlikely, But Possible
Bringing the Sierra nameplate back with a boxy styling and not offering it 4WD may be considered blasphemy by the diehard fans of the OG Sierra. Should 4WD be on the menu for the Sierra EV, we can expect it to cost Rs. 1.0 lakh more and offer fewer features than the Harrier EV 4WD. With 4WD, the Sierra EV could shake things up in the electric car space offering never-seen-before tech and capabilities at an unbelievable price point.
At Rs. 25.0 lakh (ex-showroom), the Sierra EV 65 4WD will become a tempting choice if it materialises. With this price tag, it won’t be stepping on Harrier EV 75’s toes either as the Harrier EV will continue to cater to those who want superior road presence.

Tata Sierra EV Expected Price Range
With the logic explained in the previous headings, we believe that the Sierra EV 55kWh base model will cost Rs. 19.0 lakh and while the 2025 Sierra EV top model with 2WD may cost as much as Rs. 24.0 lakh (ex-showroom). If it ends up getting 4WD, then the top model’s price could stretch as high as Rs. 25.0 lakh.
