Jeep has launched the Grand Cherokee Signature Edition in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 69.04 lakh. The special edition carries a premium of Rs 1.54 lakh over the Limited (O) variant on which it is based and gets a few additional features.

The Signature Edition comes equipped with motorised side steps, which roll out as you unlock the car or open the doors. Moreover, the second-row passengers get two 11.6-inch Android-based infotainment screens, which offer built-in speakers and support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and AUX connectivity. Additionally, the vehicle is fitted with integrated dash cameras at both the front and rear.

This edition retains the same mechanical setup as the standard Grand Cherokee. It is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that puts out 268 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and Jeep’s four-wheel drive system.
Jeep India has not revealed the exact number of units that will be produced for this edition, but has confirmed that it will be a limited-run model. The Grand Cherokee Signature Edition will be available at Jeep dealerships across the country starting June 13.
