Months after revealing the Ioniq 6 facelift and its N Line derivative, South Korean auto major Hyundai has now dropped the first teasers of the all-electric sedan’s full-blown N variant. Hyundai also confirmed to unveil the Ioniq 6 N at the UK’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, which will be held from July 10-13, 2025.
- The Ioniq 6 N gets wider fenders and a massive rear spoiler
- May borrow Ioniq 5 N’s 650hp AWD powertrain
Hyundai Ioniq 6 N teaser details
Lighter alloys, facelift-like slim headlights and revised front bumper

In addition to lighter alloy wheels, the performance-focused Hyundai N EV will sport flared fenders and a massive wing spoiler for “aerodynamic efficiency and dynamic capability”. Like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N gets larger brakes and stickier tyres, we expect the 6 N to mirror the same.
Over the first-gen model, the 2026 Ioniq 6 facelift adds a slimmer headlamp setup (with Ioniq 9-like pixel-themed DRLs), revised front bumper and splitter, and a raised bonnet. It also swaps the prominent ducktail wing with a discreet extended boot lip. Going by the teasers, all of these will make their way to the Ioniq 6 N.

It will likely be the most powerful Ioniq 6 variant yet

No details of the powertrain setup were shared by the carmaker. While the standard Ioniq 6 and N Line models pack single-motor rear-wheel drive (149hp, 225hp) and dual-motor all-wheel drive (321hp) options, the performance-focused N trim may borrow the Ioniq 5 N SUV’s 650hp AWD powertrain.
