XRT editions of some cars are already available in some markets. Currently, Hyundai have the following XRT cars on sale in international markets:
- Tucson
- Santa Fe
- Santa Cruz
- Palisade
- Ioniq 5
Including the Ioniq 5, these are 5 cars, which get the XRT treatment. All 5 of these cars have a 4WD option and XRT is available with 4WD. However, you can have a 2WD XRT as well. For instance, among the 5 XRT cars, the Palisade and Tucson XRT are available with or without 4WD.
What Is Hyundai XRT? What Does XRT Stand For?
Literally nothing! Seriously! We aren’t just cleaning up the marketing BS to bring you the truth. This is exactly what the Hyundai official website says:
XRT are a bunch of letters, which sound cool rolling off the tongue. XRT range is just cosmetic upgrades to convey the vehicles’ outdoorsy attitude, even if they don’t have 4WD.
Unlike the N Line range, which is also available for hatchbacks, XRT will remain exclusive to SUVs. The current N-line range in India includes the i20, Venue and Creta.
