Volkswagen ID Cross concept exterior design
Illuminated VW roundels, 21-inch wheels
The wide, flush surfaces give it a clean and modern face, with slim Matrix LED headlights connected by an illuminated strip running across the nose into an illuminated VW roundel. A high-set bonnet and flared wheel arches give it a crossover look, finished by cladding and a golden trim on the front bumper.
In profile, the car has pull-type door handles and chunky cladding under the doors and wheel arches. Distinctive design cues on the C-pillar echo those of the VW ID Buzz. As for the wheels, they have a sporty design and measure 21 inches. At the rear, a full-width LED light bar bridges twin rectangular taillamps, with an illuminated VW logo in the centre. Like at the front, a trim piece finished in gold has been attached to the bumper.
