Mercedes-Benz has debuted the CLA Electric sedan in India, bookings for which will commence on March 10 followed by the price announcement in April. The CLA Electric will serve as Mercedes-Benz India’s new entry-level offering, replacing the existing A-Class Limousine, EQA, and EQB in one fell swoop. As the first model based on Mercedes-Benz’s new 800V MMA platform, the CLA Electric promises impressive specs for the 250+ variant that’s headed to India, notably an 85kWh battery, 272hp rear motor, WLTP range of 792km, DC charging speeds of up to 240kW, and a 0-100kph time of 6.7 seconds.
