Punch EV is the more affordable of the two
With a starting price under Rs 10 lakh, the Punch EV is approximately Rs 3.2 lakh more affordable than the base-spec Citroen eC3. In fact, the entire Punch EV price range, between Rs 9.69 lakh and Rs 12.59 lakh, is more accessible than that of the eC3.

eC3 has a longer wheelbase, but Punch EV sits higher off the ground
While both models are not too far apart in width and height, the eC3 has a 100mm edge in length and a 95mm longer wheelbase. On the other hand, the Punch EV offers a 25mm higher ground clearance, 51 litres more boot space and 16-inch wheels that are a size larger than the eC3’s.

Punch EV offers a much higher claimed range
The Punch EV is available with 30kWh and 40kWh battery pack options, both of which are larger than the eC3’s 29.2kWh unit. Consequently, the Punch produces up to 72hp more power and as much as 11Nm more torque than the eC3. Moreover, it can go up to 222km longer on a single charge.

Punch EV’s battery supports faster AC and DC charging speeds
Regarding charging capabilities, both cars come with standard 3.3kW chargers, but the Punch also offers an optional 7.2kW charger and supports faster DC charging speeds. Although the eC3 tops up slightly quicker at 3.3kW due to its smaller battery, the Punch EV’s support for up to 7.2kW AC and 65kW DC charging enables it to charge much faster overall.
