The Nissan Gravite is based on the same CMF-A+ platform as the Renault Triber, with which it also shares the top hat. A total of 5 colour options are on offer with the Gravite – Forest Green, Blade Silver, Storm White, Onyx Black and Metallic Grey. Nissan India is selling the first 5,000 units of the compact MPV at a starting price of Rs 5.65 lakh, ex-showroom. A limited run Launch Edition (1,001 units), priced between Rs 8.35 lakh and Rs 8.93 lakh, adds several features over the top Tekna variant, on which it is based.
Under the hood, the Gravite gets the familiar 1-litre 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, pushing out 72hp and 96Nm; it can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. For the Gravite manual, Nissan claims a mileage of 19.3kpl, while in AMT guise, the MPV delivers 19.6kpl.
