2026 Brezza Facelift Spied With 6-Speed Manual Transmission
The biggest highlight from the recent spy shots is the presence of a 6-speed manual gear knob inside the cabin. Currently, all Maruti cars on sale in India use 5-speed manual transmissions. The Kizashi was the first and only Maruti till date to offer a 6-speed manual transmission in India. If introduced, the Brezza facelift could become the first Maruti model in recent years to offer a 6-speed manual transmission.
An additional gear ratio could help improve the Brezza’s highway cruising abilities, better mileage at higher speeds and improve the overall driveability. Whether this 6-speed manual transmission will be offered with the current 1.5L normal petrol engine or a new turbo petrol option remains to be seen. Currently, only the Maruti Fronx offers the option of a 1L turbo petrol engine among Maruti’s B-segment SUV portfolio.
As for the CNG option, we expect Maruti to retain the current 1.5L CNG bi-fuel engine option. However, earlier test mules confirmed that the Brezza facelift will adopt Maruti’s new underbody CNG tank layout. This setup relocates the CNG tank beneath the floor, freeing up more usable boot space compared to the current version.

Updated Brezza Likely To Get A Larger Touchscreen
The latest spy shots also hint at a revised dashboard layout featuring a larger touchscreen infotainment system. Currently, the Brezza top model comes with a 9-inch display. The updated model could get the 10.1-inch unit from the Victoris. The facelift could also introduce updated cabin trims, new upholstery and other feature upgrades.

2026 Brezza Facelift Exterior Updates
On the outside, the Brezza facelift is expected to feature minor cosmetic tweaks such as a revised front bumper, updated fog lamp housings, new alloy wheel designs, connected LED tail lamps, and a redesigned rear bumper.
Launch Timeline
While Maruti Suzuki have not confirmed an official launch date, the recent sightings of production-ready test mules suggest the Brezza facelift could arrive later this year, possibly around the 2026 festive season, if not earlier. The Brezza facelift is expected to command a slight premium over the current model, which is priced between Rs. 8.26 lakh to Rs. 13.01 lakh (ex-showroom).
