The 2027 Toyota Highlander marks the nameplate’s shift to electric powertrain in the US. It is Toyota’s first three-row EV and will be built in Kentucky. The design adopts smoother surfaces, flush door handles and a full-width LED DRL at the front, while retaining an upright SUV stance. It rides on 19-inch wheels as standard. Two battery options – 77.0kWh and 95.8kWh – will be offered, with a claimed range of up to 515km. Available in XLE and Limited trims with FWD or AWD, the Highlander is set to go on sale in late 2026.
