The Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is powered by a 296cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 40hp and 26Nm of torque. This is the same high-revving motor found in the Ninja 300 and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox equipped with a slip and assist clutch.
The adventure tourer rides on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheel setup with tubed tyres, offering 180mm of ground clearance for tackling broken surfaces. Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork with 130mm of travel at the front and a monoshock with 148mm of travel at the rear.
In terms of features, the Versys-X 300 offers a basic digi-analogue instrument cluster and comes with dual-channgel ABS that can’t be disengaged for off-road riding. A large 17-litre fuel tank positioned in a backbone frame provides good long-distance range, while a sturdy tail rack comes as standard for mounting luggage.
