Both the Mahindra XUV 3XO and Brezza are spacious, well-rounded cars, and both are available with a smooth, 6-speed torque converter (automatic). The key difference between the two cars is their engine – the XUV 3XO is powered by a stronger, turbo-petrol engine, which makes driving a lot more effortless, be it in the city or on the highway. On the other hand, the Maruti Brezza comes with a larger, 1.5-litre petrol engine, but it is responsive and performs reasonably well within urban confines.
The Brezza has an edge when it comes to ride and seat comfort, whereas the XUV’s steering is a touch lighter, and its interiors are brighter than the Brezza’s. On the whole, the Mahindra’s more modern outlook, value pricing, and its relatively more effortless performance gives it an edge.
