The KTM 390 Adventure R is the range-topping variant in the lineup with long-travel suspension and 230mm of travel at each end. Two of the biggest differences between the standard 390 Adventure and the 390 Adventure R are the suspension and the wheels. The 390 Adventure R comes with the same setup as the 390 Enduro R export-spec model, which means you have 230mm of travel at both ends in comparison to the 200mm/205mm of travel on the regular 390 Adventure. The wheels are also different, with the R using a more off-road biased 21/18-inch combination with tubed Mitas Enduro Trail tyres, whereas the standard model uses 21/17-inch wheels shod with tubeless Apollo Tramplr tyres.
