The Mahindra XUV 3XO is the better option for several reasons. The pairing of the 1.2 TGDI engine and the 6-speed Aisin gearbox in the 3XO is superior to the 1.2 turbo-petrol and dual-clutch automatic transmission in the Nexon, which is slow to shift and not very responsive.
The 3XO also has the better-appointed cabin and is easy to drive. The Nexon has its strengths of good ride and handling, and a bigger boot, but overall it’s not as nice to drive as the 3XO.
