While we haven’t yet received any final confirmation on the powertrain options for the Sierra, we believe it’ll get the following options:
- 1.2L turbo petrol engine
- 6-speed manual
- 7-speed DCT automatic
- 1.5L turbo petrol engine
- 6-speed manual
- 7-speed DCT automatic
- 1.5L turbo diesel engine
- 6-speed manual
- 7-speed DCT automatic

Tata may surprise us with an all-new 1.5L normal petrol engine as the base powertrain for the Sierra.
In terms of positioning, the Sierra will sit a notch above the Curvv and could carry a starting price of around Rs. 13.0 lakh (ex-showroom) going up to Rs. 22.0 lakh. The Sierra EV’s pricing could stretch up to Rs. 25.0-26.0 lakh and it may even offer 4-wheel drive in higher trims.

On the feature front, the Sierra will get:
- Front and rear parking sensors
- 3-screen dashboard layout
- Ventilated front seats
- Panoramic sunroof
- ADAS features
- 360-degree camera
- LED front and rear lights
- Front and rear connected light bar
- 12-speaker JBL Black sound system
- 19-inch alloy wheels
- 2-zone auto AC
- Power driver and front passenger seats
- Auto-dimming inside mirror
- Rear window curtains

We also believe it may offer a power tail gate, which is also available in the recently launched Maruti car, the Victoris.
The exact prices and variant wise features of the Sierra will become public knowledge on November 25, 2025. That’s when Tata Motors will reveal the price list of the new car.
