1. Volvo XC60 Facelift (Aug 1)
Volvo are set to launch the XC60 facelift on August 1. The most affordable Volvo in India currently, the XC60 is set to receive an updated grille as well as revised LED headlamps and taillights. We expect Volvo to offer new alloy wheel designs too with the updated luxury SUV.
On the inside, the XC60 facelift will retain its minimalist cabin layout. However, it could offer a new colour scheme for the dashboard, seat upholstery and other trim. Key features of the XC60 facelift include a 11.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, and a Bowers & Wilkins premium sound system. In terms of safety, expect multiple airbags, 360-degree surround view system and a host of ADAS features.
The XC60 facelift is expected to retain the current 2L mild-hybrid turbo petrol engine (250PS, 350Nm) mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
2. VinFast VF7 (Expected: Mid-August)
VinFast recently opened their first showroom in Surat, Gujarat and the electric carmaker is set to open 35 dealerships across 27 cities by the end of the year. We expect VinFast to launch the VF7 in the second half of August. The VF7 was first showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. However, VinFast are yet to reveal the powertrain specs and range of the India-spec VF7.
We expect the VF7 to offer a larger battery pack than the VF6, which was spied recently. For context, the global-spec VF6 offers a 59.6kWh battery pack and a range of up to 399km per charge.
When launched, the VF7 will offer features like a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, heated and ventilated seats, 360-degree surround view system as well as ADAS features.
3. Mahindra Vision S (Showcase: Aug 15)
Mahindra are set to showcase 4 concept SUVs along with an all-new platform in a grand event on Independence Day. The first of these SUVs will be the Vision S concept, which is likely to be a preview to the next-generation Scorpio or a derivative model that’s likely to use the Scorpio nameplate.
Mahindra have released various teasers of the 4 upcoming concept SUVs and the teaser for the Vision S suggest it will offer a clamshell bonnet and C-shaped LED DRLs. Expect the interior to offer a triple screen layout like the XEV 9e as well as other premium features such as a panoramic sunroof.
4. Mahindra Vision SXT (Showcase: Aug 15)
Based on the teasers released by Mahindra so far, the Vision SXT is expected to be an evolved version of the Scorpio Pick-Up concept that was showcased in South Africa a few years ago. The teaser reveals a similar front end as the Vision S concept. The latest teaser also suggests it will feature spare tyres mounted atop the cargo bay. It’s unclear if the Vision SXT will be an ICE SUV or an all-electric SUV.
5. Mahindra Vision T (Showcase: Aug 15)
The Vision T is expected to be an evolution of the Thar.e concept, which was showcased as recently as the 2025 Bharat Global Mobility Expo. The teasers suggest the Vision T will offer a boxy design with chunky off-road tyres for a rugged look. It will also feature a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. Like the other concept SUVs, details regarding its interior and powertrain options are scarce at the moment.
6. Mahindra Vision X (Showcase: Aug 15)
The Vision X concept is likely to be a preview to the upcoming next-gen Bolero or Bolero Neo that was spied testing recently. The teasers reveal a butch design, which looks near production-ready. We expect the SUV that spawns out of the Vision X concept to slot alongside the XUV 3XO and below the Scorpio-N.
