
Toyota has updated the Rumion MPV with six airbags as standard across the range. The badge-engineered Maruti Ertiga sibling is now priced between Rs 10.44 lakh and Rs 13.62 lakh (ex-showroom). Despite being updated with six airbags, the Rumion is now more affordable by up to Rs 49,000 under the new GST rates.

2025 Toyota Rumion: What’s new?
Toyota has also silently updated the Rumion with third-row AC vents and relocated the middle-row AC vents from the ceiling to the floor in between the front seats; the second-row middle seat also gets a head restraint. These updates were silently introduced on the Ertiga in July, and the same have now made it to the Rumion.
2025 Toyota Rumion powertrain and features
There are no changes on the mechanical front. The Rumion continues to be powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine, which produces 103hp and 137Nm of torque and comes with a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed AT gearbox. In the CNG spec, which is only available on the base S trim, this engine produces 88hp and 121Nm.
The Rumion’s top trims come equipped with features like a 7.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, projector headlamps, LED tail-lamps, manual air conditioning, keyless entry, cruise control, and more. Key safety features include vehicle stability control (VSC), hill-hold assist, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts and now, six airbags standard across all trims.
