The C2501 is Bajaj’s latest offering in the Chetak range. It is a ground-up new product and doesn’t share anything with the current 3001 and 35 series of Chetak scooters. The C2501 is now the entry point to the Chetak line-up, with a much more affordable price, lower range and top speed. Powering the Chetak C2501 is a floorboard-mounted 2.5kWh battery, which is rated for a claimed range of 113km. The Chetak C2501 is also the first Chetak to get a hub-mounted motor which is rated for 1.8kW (continuous) and 2.2kW (peak) of power. It has a claimed top-speed of 45kph and adding the Tecpac will unlock a higher top-speed of 55kph. The C2501 also differs from its bigger siblings in the chassis, design and features departments. Talking about the colours, it is available in one variant with six colour options, each colour gets contrasting graphics.
