- The new Sierra turbo petrol offers the same power as the Creta and Seltos turbo petrol. However, the Sierra makes its peak power at a lower rpm, which should help it respond better while overtaking while also reducing the overall noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) levels.
- The Sierra offers 2Nm more torque than the Creta and Seltos. However, the peak torque kicks in at a slightly higher rpm. Thus, the Creta and Seltos will feel more responsive in the city. However, the Sierra could feel stronger on the highway as the peak torque continues up to 4000rpm
- The Kushaq and Taigun equipped with the VW Group’s 1.5L turbo petrol engine produce 10PS less power than the Sierra. Both SUVs lag behind the Sierra in terms of peak torque too.
- The Citroen Aircross offers the least powerful engine among the Sierra’s turbo petrol rivals.
