
During the ongoing festive season, Volkswagen cars are much more approachable as the brand has massive discounts, benefits and other offers on its models, making them cheaper to buy. In the month of September, customers can avail of a flat cash discount, an exchange or scrappage bonus, and a loyalty bonus on the Virtus sedan, and Taigun and Tiguan SUVs. Here’s how much you could save on your new Volkswagen car this month.

Volkswagen Tiguan discounts September 2025
Up to Rs 3 lakh off

Like last month, the new-gen Volkswagen Tiguan is being offered with maximum benefits of up to Rs 3 lakh. Launched in April at Rs 49 lakh in a sole R Line variant, the Tiguan serves as VW’s current flagship model and has been brought in as a fully imported CBU. It is powered by a 204hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that sends power to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Volkswagen Taigun discounts September 2025
Up to Rs 1.55 lakh off

Total discounts on the Volkswagen Taigun have come down by about Rs 1 lakh compared to last month. The Taigun Topline 1.0-litre TSI AT variant gets among the highest discounts while the Highline and the GT Line trim levels get benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh and Rs 1.1 lakh, respectively. Just like the Virtus, the base Comfortline trim of the Taigun is listed at a special offer price of Rs 10.99 lakh – down Rs 80,000 from the ex-showroom price. For the Taigun GT 1.5-litre TSI (both Chrome and Sport) variants, buyers can avail up to Rs 1.55 lakh off across both the MT and DSG transmission options.
Volkswagen Virtus discounts September 2025
Up to Rs 1.5 lakh off

Of the Volkswagen Virtus line-up, it is the 115hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol versions that get the highest discounts of up to Rs 1.5 lakh, specifically, the higher-spec Topline variants. Select lower-spec Virtus 1.0 variants have a special price this month as well – the entry-level Virtus Comfortline is now priced at Rs 10.54 lakh, instead of Rs 11.56 lakh, representing a price cut of Rs 1.02 lakh. The Virtus models powered by the 150hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine have maximum discounts up to Rs 90,000 as along with the exchange and loyalty bonuses, all 1.5-litre variants equipped with the 7-speed dual-clutch auto see a temporary price reduction of Rs 35,000-40,000. Naturally, there are higher discounts available on MY2024 models as some dealers are looking to clear inventory of the previous year’s stock. It should be noted that total discounts on the Virtus have reduced from Rs 2 lakh last month.
