2025 BMW iX3 exterior design
Debuts brand’s new design language
Starting with the BMW iX3 dimensions, they are 4,782mm (length), 1,895mm (width) and 1,635mm (height). The 2025 BMW iX3 introduces the brand’s next-generation design language. Aerodynamic tweaks give it a drag coefficient of 0.24Cd. Up front, the upright nose has vertically arranged BMW kidney grilles (reference to the Neue Klasse cars of the 1960s) and slim headlights with a new light signature. In profile, the iX3 has large, clean surfaces and flush-fitting door handles, plus squared-off wheel arches in body colour.
20-inch alloy wheels are standard, but BMW will also offer 20-22-inch new light alloy wheels as an optional upgrade. At the rear, wide tail-lights (not connected) with a fresh interpretation of BMW’s L shape signature are present. The light pair also have individual light sections, arranged in a slanting pattern. Both the rear spoiler and bumper have a sporty treatment.
2025 BMW iX3 interior features
17.9 inch touchscreen, width-wide Panoramic Vision system
The BMW iX3’s interior has a clean and minimal layout, with a seating capacity for 5 passengers. Drivers still have physical buttons for key functions like indicators, wipers, and volume, while most other features can be controlled by voice or the multifunction steering wheel. At the base of the windscreen is the width-wide Panoramic Vision system, which presents key information like real-time battery state of charge (SOC), selected drive mode and outside temperature. Centrally-mounted touchscreen measures 17.9 inches, and runs on BMW’s Operating System X.
Large windows and a panoramic glass roof (optional) have been provided to make the interior feel airy. Interior trims are offered in different themes, from sustainable fabric options to leather. M Sport versions add sport seats, an M steering wheel, and black high-gloss trim details. The iX3 has a boot capacity of 520 litres, expandable to 1,750 litres with the rear seats folded. There’s also a 58-litre storage compartment under the bonnet, too.
