
Hyundai has launched the new Alcazar Knight Edition at Rs 21.66 lakh (ex-showroom). The Alcazar is the sixth model in Hyundai’s lineup to get the Knight Edition treatment. It is based on the top-spec Signature trim, is available with both petrol and diesel engines, but only in 7-seater guise.

Hyundai Alcazar Knight Edition: what’s new?
Akin to other Knight Edition models that have come before, the Alcazar Knight Edition gets an all-black exterior and interior theme. The blacked-out treatment has been meted out to the alloy wheels, front and rear skid plates, side sill garnish, roof rails and the ORVMs. It also gets new red brake callipers, a matte black finish for the front and rear Hyundai logos and a Knight Edition emblem.
The interior also gets an all-black finish for the dashboard and upholstery, but it is contrasted with some brass accents. The Alcazar Knight Edition also gets new metal pedals.
Hyundai Alcazar Knight Edition: powertrain options
The Alcazar Knight Edition is only available in the petrol and diesel automatic variants. So, there’s the 160hp/253Nm, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with the 7-speed DCT gearbox and the 116hp/250Nm, 1.5-litre diesel mill with the 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
New updates for regular Alcazar
Hyundai has also used this opportunity to throw in a bunch of updates for the regular Alcazar. This includes a new matte black exterior paint shade and a new dashcam on the Signature trim.
