The Toyota Camry Sprint Edition has been launched in India at Rs 48.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with a dealer-level accessory kit, which does not command any premium over the regular Elegance variant of the Camry. It gets a sportier look on the outside, a few additional features, and continues to be powered by the 230hp, 2.5-litre strong-hybrid engine.

Toyota Camry Sprint Edition exterior and interior
The Toyota Camry Sprint Edition is available in five exterior colour options – Emotional Red, Platinum White Pearl, Cement Grey, Precious Metal and Dark Blue Metallic – all of which are contrasted by a matte black finish on the bonnet, roof and trunk.
It also gets a dealer-level sports kit accessory package that adds a few exterior embellishments. The front and rear bumpers get sporty-looking extensions, and there’s also a subtle spoiler on the boot lid; the 18-inch alloy wheels also get a blacked-out finish.
The Camry Sprint Edition also gets ambient lighting on the inside and puddle lamps, both of which, again, are dealer-level accessories. Other features like the 12.3-inch infotainment system and digital driver’s display, powered and ventilated front seats, wireless charger, 3-zone climate control, head-up display and 9-speaker JBL sound system have been carried over from the regular car.
Toyota Camry Sprint Edition powertrain, specs
Under the hood, the Sprint Edition sees no changes and continues to be powered by the 2.5-litre four-cylinder Atkinson cycle petrol engine. This engine produces 187hp and 221Nm on its own, and combined with the electric motor, the total system output is 230hp. Transmission duties are handled by an eCVT unit, just like other hybrids in the carmaker’s stable.
Toyota says the Camry can sprint from 0-100kph in 7.2 seconds, and with a claimed fuel efficiency of 25.4kpl, it is one of the highest mileage cars on sale in India.
