The Vida VX2 is the brand’s most affordable offering. The Vida VX2 looks different from the V2 and has more of a family-centric design with smooth, flowing lines as opposed to the layered panel on the V2. Here are a few things to know before buying the VX2 Plus.
1. What is the peak output of the Vida VX2 Plus?
The VX2 Plus is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor producing 6kW of peak power. It has a claimed 0 to 40kph time of 3.3 seconds and a claimed top-speed of 80kph.
2.What is the battery and range of the Vida VX2 Plus?
The VX2 Plus packs in a 3.4kWh removable battery that has a claimed IDC range of 142km
3.What are the charging rate and charging times of the Vida VX2 Plus?

With the VX2 Plus, Vida claims a 0–80 percent charging time of 4 hours 13 minutes using its 580W charger, while a full charge from zero to 100 percent is said to take 5 hours 39 minutes.
4. What are the features that the Vida VX2 Plus gets over the VX2 Go?

The ‘Plus’ variant is only available with the larger 3.4kWh battery pack whereas the Go is available with this 3.4kWh pack and a smaller 2.2kWh battery pack as well. Apart from this, the Plus gets a 4.3-inch TFT dash in place of the LCD dash that comes with the Go. It also gets an additional riding mode (Sport), apart from the standard Eco and Ride modes. It also gets a higher top-speed of 80kph along with a front-disc brake for added stopping power.
5. What is Vida’s BaaS (Battery-as-a-service) plan?

The idea is to lower the upfront cost of the scooter, making the VX2 more accessible. If you opt for BaaS instead of an outright purchase, you pay a monthly fee, and once the plan tenure ends, you gain full ownership of both the scooter and its batteries. BaaS payments vary by plan, the details of which are outlined below along with their costs.
Hero offers three Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plans with different tenures. The 2-year plan costs Rs 2,160 per month for 2,400km, translating to the lowest running cost at Rs 0.90/km. The 3-year plan is priced at Rs 1,584 per month for 1,600km, with a per-km cost of Rs 0.99. The most affordable monthly option is the 5-year plan, which costs Rs 1,128 per month for 800km, though its per-km rate is higher at Rs 1.41. In addition, customers must pay a one-time Rs 1,199 towards stamp duty and documentation charges. However, once added up, the total cost of the VX2 comes up higher with the BaaS plan as opposed to buying it outright.
