Although, compared to the BE 6, Sierra will take a completely opposite path in terms of design. While the BE6 is fairly curvy and has a coupe-like side profile, the Sierra will stick with a boxy design of a traditional SUV. Eventually, its real rival, the Roxx EV might arrive to challenge the Sierra EV.

Update (Aug 31, 2025): After analysing the current economic and competitive landscape, we have decided to revise our price expectation for Sierra EV. From our earlier estimation of Rs. 20.0 – 25.0 lakh, we are revising it to Rs. 19.0 – 26.0 lakh. If they announce an electric 4WD option, then you can expect the price range to stretch a bit further to Rs. 27.0. Here, we explain our logic behind the revision.
2025 Tata Sierra EV Expected Price Breakdown
The Tata Sierra EV is expected to be priced between Rs. 19.0 lakh and Rs. 26.0 lakh (ex-showroom). If they also bring a 4WD option, then we can expect it to cost Rs. 27.0 lakh (ex-showroom). Here is our Sierra EV’s price range estimate:

Tata Sierra EV — Why We Expect This Price Range
The Tata Sierra EV will sit between the Curvv EV and Harrier EV in Tata’s EV lineup. With the Curvv EV costing between Rs. 17.49 lakh and Rs. 22.24 lakh and the Harrier EV carrying a price range of Rs. 21.49 to Rs. 28.99 lakh, it is natural for the Sierra EV to cost more than the Curvv EV but less than the Harrier EV. To help the buyers gradually climb up the price ladder during their purchase decision without feeling the push, the Sierra EV will increase the overlap between their electric car offerings. Hence, it will have a considerable overlap with the Curvv EV as well as the Harrier EV.
To help the Sierra EV live up to the Sierra badge, Tata are likely to offer it with a 4WD system. Their Acti.EV platform is designed to accept dual-motor configurations for a 4WD option. We can’t say if Tata will announce 4WD at the time of Sierra launch sometime in November 2025 or reserve it for a later product update. But, we are fairly confident that this is the way to go if they want to challenge the might of the Thar Roxx. The Sierra badge alone is not enough to do that. And now, they also have a tested 4WD setup in the Harrier EV.
Hence, we expect Tata to price the Sierra EV between Rs. 19.0 lakh and Rs. 26.0 lakh (ex-showroom), covering both battery pack options while giving the Sierra EV some breathing room. At Rs. 27.0 lakh with 4WD, the price band will completely overlap with that of the BE 6 while offering a 4WD option — in line with the Sierra’s name.
Tata Sierra EV Expected Launch Timeline
The Tata Sierra EV is likely to go on sale sometime in November 2025, with the debut most likely scheduled around the third week of the month. Although, Tata Motors have not officially confirmed the date yet. For the latest updates on pricing and specifications, visit www.v3cars.com.
