2025 Harrier EV Pricing Strategy Explained
The outgoing Tata Harrier diesel tops out at around ₹26.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The Harrier EV, however, sits above both the Nexon EV and the Curvv EV in Tata’s electric vehicle portfolio. It will also offer dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) — a first for Tata EVs — along with significant upgrades in technology, safety and premium features.
With a full-size SUV footprint and AWD capability now confirmed, the ₹21.5 – ₹30 lakh price range seems well-aligned with the segment expectations and Harrier EV’s new positioning.
How It Compares with Rivals
The Tata Harrier EV will go up directly against the newly launched Mahindra XEV 9e, which shares similar size, technology and pricing.
Rival | Price (Ex-Showroom) |
XEV 9e | ₹21.90 – ₹30.50 Lakh |
Both SUVs are based on dedicated EV platforms and offer premium features and large dimensions. While the Harrier EV will be equipped with all-wheel-drive (AWD) tech, the Mahindra XEV 9e is rear-wheel-drive (RWD) only.
