3. Tata Punch EV
Launched in early 2024 and built on Tata’s Gen 2 EV architecture, the Punch EV offers enhanced integration and practicality, including a 366-litre boot and a 14-litre frunk. It’s available in Medium Range and Long Range variants that offer a range of 315km and 421km per charge, respectively. Features include dual 10.25-inch screens, wireless connectivity, ventilated seats, and optional sunroof.

4. Citroen eC3

5. Mahindra XUV400
A direct competitor to the Nexon EV, the Mahindra XUV400 offers multiple battery-motor configurations. Features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen, connected car tech, and dual-zone climate control.

6. Tata Nexon EV
Significantly updated in late 2023, the Nexon EV comes in Medium Range (30kWh battery, 325km ARAI range, 129PS/215Nm) and Long Range (40.5kWh battery, 465km ARAI range, 145PS/215Nm) options, both comfortably exceeding the 250km mark.

7. MG ZS EV

8. Tata Curvv EV

9. Hyundai Creta Electric

10. Mahindra BE 6

11. Mahindra XEV 9e
The XEV 9e is the second Mahindra EV to be based on the INGLO platform. It is essentially, the electric coupe SUV alternative to the XUV700. The new XEV 9e sits above the BE 6 in Mahindra’s EV portfolio. It is offered with the same battery pack options as the BE 6 – 59kWh and 79kWh – offering a range of 542km and 656km, respectively.

12. BYD Atto 3
