
On the occasion of the Hyundai Creta completing 10 years in the Indian market, the Korean carmaker has launched two new trims – Creta King and Creta King Limited Edition – with more features. The ex-showroom prices for these new top-of-the-line trims start from Rs 17.89 lakh. Hyundai has also rolled out additional features across the regular trims of the Creta and Creta N Line.

Hyundai Creta King: What’s new?
Hyundai has introduced a bunch of new features with the Creta King. These include larger 18-inch alloys, a memory function for the powered driver’s seat, an 8-way powered adjustment for the front passenger seat, dual-zone AC, a dashcam, a sliding front armrest with storage and a ‘King’ emblem.

Hyundai has also brought in the retractable seatback table, front passenger seat boss mode functionality and the touch-based HVAC panel from the Alcazar here on the Creta King variants. Moreover, these variants have wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, although it is via a wired-to-wireless adapter.
All five powertrain options of the Creta are available on the new King trim. These include the 115hp, 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with a 6-speed MT or a CVT gearbox, the 116hp, 1.5-litre diesel with a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT gearbox and the 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with a 7-speed DCT.

The Creta King also gets the Knight Edition treatment, featuring a blacked-out exterior and interior, but powertrain options are limited to the petrol-CVT and diesel-AT.
Hyundai Creta King Limited Edition: What’s new?
Additionally, Hyundai has introduced a limited edition trim called the King Limited Edition. Over this regular King variants, this gets a seatbelt cover, headrest cushions, new carpet mats, a key cover and additional door cladding.
However, the King Limited Edition will only be available with two powertrain options – the 115hp, 1.5-litre petrol-CVT and the 116hp, 1.5-litre diesel-AT – and with three colour options (Abyss Black, Atlas White and Black Matte).

New updates for regular Creta, Creta N Line
Some of these new features from the Creta King will also be made available across more trims of the SUV, as well as the Creta N Line. These include the dual-zone AC with the new touch-based HVAC panel, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the dashcam and the 18-inch alloys. Hyundai, however, hasn’t clarified the exact trims in which these new features will be made available. The Creta also sees the addition of a new matte black colour option.
