The Hyundai i20 IVT will be smoother for the daily city commuting, on account of its relatively more seamless automatic transmission. So if you are going to be driving this car primarily in the city, the i20 is a good choice. But on the open road, it is the Hyundai Venue‘s turbo-petrol engine which will deliver more effortless, stronger performance.
Also, it is worth noting that there’s a huge price gap of nearly Rs 3.5 lakh between the automatic versions of the Hyundai i20 Sportz O 1.2 Petrol, and the Hyundai Venue 1.0 Turbo. But if budget permits, it makes sense to stretch for the Venue Turbo-DCT for its stronger performance, newer tech and features, and higher seating and better ground clearance.
