Mahindra welcomed its fourth electric model, the XUV 3XO EV, on January 6, 2026. Mahindra’s sub-4-metre electric SUV succeeds the XUV400 that was launched just three years ago and borrows the overall look and form factor of the ICE-powered XUV 3XO while retaining the larger XUV400’s electric powertrain. The only difference to its exterior compared to the ICE 3XO is a mildly revised front grille and lower apron, along with bronze highlights on the fascia and rear end. Bronze detailing aside, the EV’s interior design is also identical to the XUV 3XO’s.
Mahindra XUV 3XO EV prices
Price: Rs 13.89 lakh-14.96 lakh (ex-showroom)

The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is priced at Rs 13.89 lakh and Rs 14.96 lakh for the AX5 and AX7L variants, respectively. To keep things simple, Mahindra is offering the XUV 3XO EV with just one battery and powertrain combination. Both variants get the same 39.4kWh battery pack that powers a front-mounted electric motor that generates 150hp and 310Nm of torque. In terms of performance, Mahindra claims that the XUV 3XO EV can accelerate from 0-100kph in 8.3 seconds, identical to what the XUV400’s claimed 0-100kph time was. While the brand claims a real-world range of up to 285km, the XUV 3XO EV’s MIDC-rated maximum range is 351km, considering mixed driving cycles.
Mahindra XUV 3XO EV colours
There are six exterior shades for customers to pick.

Everest White and Tango Red are the brightest colours offered on the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV. The darker exterior colour options are Deep Forest, Galaxy Grey, Nebula Blue and Stealth Black. Regardless of colour, the EV SUV can be had with a dual-tone copper roof option. The interior is almost a carbon copy of the XUV 3XO, save for the bronze highlights.

Mahindra XUV 3XO EV: Which variant should you buy?

The difference in price between the AX5 and AX7L is a little over Rs 1 lakh, which is not vast considering the extra features the latter gets. For perspective, higher variants of the Nexon EV cost a lot more, even after factoring in the additional cost for the 7.2kW AC charger of the XUV 3XO EV. While the entry-level AX5 gets plenty of equipment, we would pick the top-spec AX7L variant of the new XUV 3XO EV because it adds more feel-good features like leatherette upholstery, a premium audio system and a panoramic sunroof, along with extra safety kit like surround-view cameras and Level 2 ADAS.
