Lexus LM 350h: What’s new?

Lexus has not changed anything radically on the LM, but it has made some thoughtful additions to make the luxury MPV a better proposition. First among these is that the rear console has received a button for operating the powered rear doors, which were absent before. The more premium 4-seat variant has also been updated with an auto-dimming interior rearview mirror (IRVM) for enhanced safety, and Lexus has added a tray for the rear-seat passengers.
In terms of hardware, the only update is that the 2.5-litre hybrid engine, which has a combined output of 250hp, is now compliant with E20 fuel.
Lexus LM 350h: Other details

The rest of the Lexus LM 350h, including the exterior, interior and features, remains unchanged. The MPV continues with a 14-inch infotainment system, a 12.28-inch driver’s display, up to a 23-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, powered front seats with adjustable lumbar support and 4-zone auto AC. Its safety suite includes multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera and Level-2 ADAS.
The entry-level 7-seat VIP variant costs Rs 2.15 crore, and the top-spec 4-seat Ultra Luxury trim continues to be priced at Rs 2.69 crore.
While the Lexus LM does not have any direct rival, it can be considered a more premium alternative to the Toyota Vellfire in India.
All prices are ex-showroom, India.
