What is the Volvo EX30 range?

The EX30 in India comes with a 69kWh lithium-ion battery pack, powering a 272hp, 343Nm rear axle-mounted electric motor. Volvo claims a 0-100kph time of 5.3 seconds and a 180kph top speed. On the WLTP cycle, the Volvo EX30 claims a single charge range of 480km. While an ARAI figure isn’t out yet, our Volvo EX30 review states that in real-world driving, it will comfortably cross the 350km mark, making it suitable for urban runs and small intercity commutes.

What are the Volvo EX30 features?
Exterior.
The EX30 features a closed-off front grille and Volvo’s signature ‘Thor’s hammer’ LED headlights with automatic high beam assist. In India, the EX30 comes with 19-inch aero-optimised wheels as standard. The car offers a boot space of 318 litres, which can be expanded by folding the rear seats in a 60:40 split; there’s a 7-litre front trunk (frunk), too.

Interior.
The EX30 features a 12.3-inch vertically mounted touchscreen with Google built in. Wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto, a new three-spoke steering wheel and a 9-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, a fixed panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, 8-way powered front seats and wireless smartphone chargers are some of the other features.
Safety.
On the safety front, the new EX30 packs Level 2 ADAS, 7 airbags, a 360-degree camera and a blind spot monitor.
