The Porsche Taycan 4S is now available in Black Edition avatar, priced at Rs 2.07 crore, ex-showroom, India, before options. Like the Cayenne Black Edition, the Taycan 4S Black Edition sports minor exterior and interior changes compared to the standard model. Interestingly, Porsche offers its Black Edition models with multiple exterior colours, and in the case of the Taycan 4S, the electric sedan gets 11 complementary options.

Costs Rs 11 lakh more than the standard Taycan 4S.
The Taycan 4S Black Edition is priced at Rs 2.07 crore, Rs 11 lakh more than the standard model. The blacked-out version is powered by the same 105kWh (97kWh net) battery pack as the standard Taycan 4S (WLTP range of 668km), with power sent to all four wheels via two motors, rated at a combined maximum output of 598hp and 710Nm. It has a claimed 0-100kph time of 3.7 seconds, along with an 18 minute charging time on a 320kW DC fast charger.

Front apron, side skirts, rear diffuser, alloys, window trim, ORVMs, headlights and badges get black finish.
The Taycan 4S Black Edition gets a high-gloss black finish on the front apron, side skirts, rear diffuser, lower part of the outside rear view mirrors, and badges and lettering. The 21-inch ‘Aero Design’ alloy wheels get a gloss black finish and the headlights feature a smoky finish. Puddle lamps that project Porsche lettering in white are also on offer.
As standard, the Taycan 4S Black Edition gets a total of 13 exterior colour options – Black, White, Jet Black Metallic, Ice Grey Metallic, Volcano Grey Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, Gentian Blue Metallic, Carmine Red, Provence (a light purple colour), Neptune Blue, Frozenberry Metallic (a pink hue), Frozenblue Metallic and Purple Sky Metallic. Other colour options are paid extras starting at Rs 5.11 lakh, going up to Rs 32.18 lakh.

Interior layout and features same as standard Taycan 4S.
On the inside, the Taycan 4S Black Edition has the same layout as the standard model, and the features list – a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, an ADAS suite, 14-way power adjustable front seats, 4-zone climate control and a 710W 14-speaker Bose sound system – is unchanged. The Taycan 4S Black Edition gets two Race-tex (Alcantara/leatherette) interior upholstery options that are black, along with two monotone leather options; one of them being black. Dual-tone interior themes are an optional extra.
